EBOOKS AVAILABLE AT THE LIBRARY
Did you receive a Nook or Kindle for Christmas? If you did, you may want to check out eBooks from Pigeon District Library which are available through our website www.pigeondistrictlibrary.com. From the library’s homepage click on the “Download eBooks” button that is in the center column of library information. You’ll be directed to the Fuel Your Mind OverDrive site where you can check out and download Kindle books and Adobe EPUB books for your Nook or other eReader, as well as audio books. To check out and download you need a valid Pigeon District Library card and internet access. To assist you with this process there are several tools on the Overdrive site that will help, but handouts are also available at the circulation desk of the library. The staff is willing to help the first-time user with this wonderful technology that the Pigeon District Library is happy to provide to its patrons.

ADVANTAGE PROGRAM FOR EBOOKS
Take full advantage of your OverDrive-powered shared collection with OverDrive Advantage. This feature gives libraries that are members of a shared collection the ability to offer popular titles--exclusively for their patrons. OverDrive Advantage libraries can purchase additional copies of popular titles that are already in the shared collection, as well as titles that are not yet available.

Patrons browsing the consortium's 'Virtual Branch' website will only see titles that are available to all members. For those patrons whose member libraries have added Advantage titles, access to those titles will occur only after the patron logs in with a library card.

Pigeon District Library has purchased the following Advantage Titles and more titles will be added in March:

Abigail’s New Hope
Ask Mariah
Blueberry Muffin Murder
Body Count
Daniel’s Gift
The Descendents
Diamond Lake
Explosive Eighteen
Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close Four of a Kind
The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks
