MICHIGAN READS
The Michigan Education Association is proud to be partnering with three of Michigan’s top pro sports teams—the Detroit Pistons, Detroit Red Wings, and Detroit Tigers—to encourage kids to read this summer.

The “Michigan Reads” program lets students throughout the state earn incentives for reading 10 books by August 22, 2010. Students who read 10 books get to choose a great reward from their favorite team, including free or discounted tickets, stadium parties and other cool prizes.

All they have to do is read 10 books. Then, with their parents (or guardians), visit www.michiganreads.com to pick their favorite team and fill in the form. They’ll get a return email with instructions about how to get their free tickets and more. It’s easy.
